Push Your Limits at the Kinni Adventure Race!

Are you ready to test your endurance, navigation skills, and spirit of adventure? Join us for the Kinni, a unique and exhilarating challenge in the stunning Kinnickinnic State Park. This isn't just any race— it's a personal triumph and discovery journey.

Race Details:

  • Navigate and Explore: Using a provided map, seek out four hidden books across the park. Tear out the page that matches your bib number as proof of your find.

  • Dynamic Terrain: Experience the thrill of varying distances and terrains, from rugged trails to serene park landscapes. Expect to cover approximately 10-13 miles.

  • Beat the Clock: Return to the starting point with all your pages before advancing to the next challenge. It's not just about speed; it's about strategy and resilience.

  • Unpredictable Adventure: The Kinni race keeps you on your toes with unexpected twists, turns, and challenges that make every step an exhilarating adventure, filling you with excitement and anticipation.

Where

Kinnickinnic State Park, W11983 820th Ave. River Falls WI 54022

 

From Interstate Highway 94 in Hudson, go south on County Highway F. Go about 7.7 miles to Cedar View Road (820th Avenue). Turn right and go about 0.2 miles; the park entrance will be on your left.

From U.S. Highway 10, go about 1.2 miles east of Prescott, go north on State Highway 29 about 1.2 miles to County Highway F. Turn left (north) onto County Highway F and go 5.2 miles to Cedar View Road (820th Avenue). Turn left and go about 0.2 miles; the park entrance will be on your left.

7:55 AM Pre-Race Conference
8:00 AM Start


Cupless event

All St. Croix Running Company events have removed paper cups to reduce our environmental footprint. We encourage you to bring a water bottle, container, or running vest for your journey. Water will be available at aid stations and the start and finish lines.


Lodging

There are many hotels in the area. Consider finding a place in Hudson, WI, River Falls, WI, or Woodbury, MN.

If camping is more your style, consider looking into a place at Willow River State Park, 25 minutes from Kinnickinnic State Park.


Packet pick-up

Packet pick-up is on race morning only, starting at 7:00 AM.

There will be a short pre-race briefing about 5 minutes before the start of the race.


Parking admission

To purchase your parking before the race, visit this DNR site. The park will look for your sticker or an order confirmation number on your window or dash.

We ask that runners and volunteers park in the parking lot at the far end of the park (west toward the river).


Drop bag

Near the central aid station, there is an area for personal items (food, socks, etc.) you may want during the event.


Aid station

Water, Hammer Gels, pre-packaged snacks, and fruit will be available at the central aid station. If you have special dietary requirements, please use your drop bags.


Restrooms

Restrooms are available at the start and finish lines. Please use them and keep the trails clean, leaving no trace.


Pacers

Pacers are not allowed. If you want someone to run with you, please register them for the event.


DNF (Did Not Finish)

If you need to drop from the race, remove your bib and give it to the aid station volunteer or race director.

Suppose you leave the course and fail to notify race officials. In that case, you will be asked not to participate in future St. Croix Running Company events.

Delay, suspend or cancel the event

The race director reserves the right to delay, suspend, or cancel any part or all of the event if weather conditions, acts of your god, or mine deem it dangerous to the participants, volunteers, or staff or harmful to the course.

The St. Croix Running company will make all reasonable efforts via email, this website, and social media if a delay, suspension, or cancellation is necessary.
